Solution 34579: Blank Screen When Displaying a Graph on the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus Family of Graphing Calculators.
Why do I get a blank screen when I try to display a graph on the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus family of graphing calculators?
If a blank screen is displayed when graphing a function, it may be that the Window settings on the calculator are not appropriate for the function being graphed.
The ZoomFit command allows the calculator to set the Window settings so that the function can be displayed properly.
To use the ZoomFit command:
• Enter the function in the Y= Editor.
• Press [ZOOM] and Scroll to 0:ZoomFit.
• Press [ENTER].
