Solution 34536: Deleting and Saving Calculator Software Applications (Apps) from the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition to a Computer using the TI Connect™ Software.
Can calculator software applications (Apps) be deleted from a TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition using TI Connect?
Before using the TI Connect software, please be sure the latest version is installed on the computer. Currently, the latest version is TI Connect v4.0. TI Connect v4.0 can be downloaded, free of charge, from the education.ti.com website.To delete Apps from a TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition using TI Connect, please follow the steps listed below.
• Open the TI Connect software and click on the TI DeviceExplorer icon.
• If the TI DeviceExplorer successfully connects to the calculator, a "tree" should appear displaying all the data currently stored on the calculator.
• Click on the plus (+) sign next to applications. A list should appear containing all the names of the Apps currently stored on the calculator.
• Right-click on the name of the application to be deleted and select "Delete."
To backup Apps from a TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition using TI Connect, please follow the steps listed below.
• Open the TI Connect software and click on the TI DeviceExplorer icon.
• If the TI DeviceExplorer successfully connects to the calculator, a "tree" should appear displaying all the data currently stored on the calculator.
• Click on the plus (+) sign next to applications. A list should appear containing all the names of the Apps currently stored on the calculator.
• Click on the name of the application and drag and drop it onto the computer's desktop. This will transfer a backup copy of the application onto the computer without deleting it from the calculator's FLASH ROM.
