How do I use the TI TestGuard App to delete variables, programs, and applications from a student's calculator?
The TI TestGuard App is a tool that teachers can use to gain more control over what data, programs, and Calculator Software Applications (Apps) are on students' TI graphing calculators during class time and tests.
The TI TestGuard App deletes programs, lists, applications, and other stored data from a student's calculator. Teachers also have the option to leave specific Apps on student calculators. In addition, TI TestGuard App uses a password feature to confirm that the calculators have been cleared as setup by the teacher.
While running the TI TestGuard App, a teacher's graphing calculator can link to and delete data, programs and Apps from the following graphing calculators:
TI-83
TI-83 Plus family
TI-84 Plus family
TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition
TI-89 with Operating System (OS) 2.0 or higher and TI-89 Titanium
TI-92 Plus with OS 2.0 or higher
Note: The Voyage™ 200 graphing calculator is not supported.
