Can the student unit connect like the teacher unit to the different projection devices?
Any TI-84 Plus or TI-84 Plus Silver Edition calculator will connect to the current TI-83 Plus Viewscreen panel and the TI-Presenter using the TI-84 Plus Presentation Link™ (available separately). The TI-84 Plus Presentation Link is an adaptor that connects the new USB port on the TI-84 Plus Family calculator with the existing cable on the ViewScreen panel or TI-Presenter.
TI will continue to create a ViewScreen version of the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition for teachers. This unit is necessary for displaying to the class what a TI-84 Plus Family is showing while making use of the USB port.
