Solution 11896: Standards Used to Verify Functionality of Graphing Calculators.

Does TI use any standards (NIST, ASTM, UL, etc.) to verify functionality of graphing calculators?

TI has its own proprietary testing protocol for its products. This protocol serves to provide TI with a level of confidence in not only product functionality but also the accuracy of the documentation that accompanies the product. As noted in the warranty statement, TI does not warrant products to be fit for a particular purpose nor does TI warrant software (firmware) to be error free. Please note that the testing protocol is proprietary; therefore, it is not available for public inspection.

There are no standard bodies or agencies that have published any standards that apply specifically to calculator testing.
