Why does the LearningCheck Creator software limit pull down responses after the 23rd character?
The "Fill in the Blank>>Pull Down" response template allows a student to choose from a pull down menu of responses when answering a LearningCheck Creator assessment. The pull down menu is limited on how many characters it can display since all responses must be displayed on the screen while the student makes a selection. This is mainly a limitation due to the screen size of the calculator and currently cannot be changed. If responses are longer than 23 characters, Texas Instruments recommends using the "Multiple Choice>>Custom Choices" template when creating a LearningCheck assessment.
