How do I update my calculator's operating system using the TI-GRAPH LINK software for Windows®?
To update a TI graphing calculator's operating
system (OS) using the TI-GRAPH LINK software for Windows®, follow the
steps listed below.
• Start the TI-GRAPH LINK software. • From the Link menu, select a COM port to use. • Scroll to [cable type]. • Select a Connectivity cable from the menu. • Click on the [Link] menu. • Select Send Flash Software • Select Operating System
A "Directory Window" will appear. In the directory window:
• Select the folder where the OS file is saved by double clicking on the folder name. • Double click on the OS filename. • Click OK.
Note: If Send Flash Software is not on the Link menu, try using the TI Connect™ software.
The TI Connect software can auto-detect the calculator and cable, and
is supported on Windows® 2000, Windows® XP and Windows® Vista.
