Why do I receive an 'Inconsistent Units' error when performing
temperature conversions on the TI-89 Family, TI-92 Family, Voyage 200?
The 'Inconsistent Units' error is returned when standard conversion notation is used on the TI-89 family, TI-92 family, and Voyage 200.
To perform temperature conversions, use the tmpCnv( ) command. The example below will demonstrate how to input a temperature conversion.
Example: Convert 100 degrees Celsius to Fahrenheit.
To Solve:
• Input tmpCnv(100_°C,_°F)
The screen will show 212°F.
