Solution 15464: Definition of Time, Web, and Custom Settings for Axes When Graphing Sequences on the TI-89 Titanium and Voyage™ 200.

When is it best to use the Axes Mode setting when graphing sequences on the TI-89 Titanium or Voyage™ 200?

Please see the below descriptions:

• TIME: The time format for graphing sequences graphs the sequences as a function of the independent variable n by graphing the points (n, u(n)) for each sequence.

• WEB: The web format produces a cobweb plot for a sequence U(n). It is better to use to display the graph as converging to an equilibrium point or veering off into space.

CUSTOM: The custom format is used to create phase plots to see how one sequence affects another sequence.

Please see the TI-89 Titanium or Voyage 200 guidebooks for additional information.
