How do I enter a List on the home screen using the TI-89 Family, TI-92 Family, or Voyage 200 graphing calculator?
The example below will demonstrate how to enter a list on the home screen of a TI-89 Family, TI-92 Family or Voyage 200.
Example: Create a list, called "test" which contains the values {1,2,3,4}.
1) Access the home screen by pressing the [HOME] key on the TI-89 and TI-89 Titanium, [GREEN DIAMOND] [HOME] on the TI-92 family, or [GREEN DIAMOND] [CALC HOME] on the Voyage 200.
2) Press [2nd] [{].
3) Input the number separated by commas. For instance, the first two values would be entered by pressing [1] [,] [2] [,]. Continue until all 4 values are entered. There should be no comma after the final value.
4) Press [2nd] [}] to close off the list.
5) Press [STO>] then input the name for the list, in this case test.
6) Press [ENTER].
The calculator will confirm the entry by displaying the list on the right side of the screen.
