The example below shows how to find the absolute value (argument) of an imaginary number.

Example: Find the absolute value of 53-22i

Solution:

• Press [2nd][MODE]
• Scroll down to PolarC and press [ENTER]
• Press [2nd][MATH]
• Press [F1]
• Press [F5]
• Input after abs (53, -22) and press [ENTER]
The answer is 57.384667
