Solution 18149: Using the Round Function on the BA II PLUS™ and BA II PLUS™ PROFESSIONAL.

What is the purpose of the Round function on the BA II PLUS and BA II PLUS PROFESSIONAL?

The Round function changes the internal value of a calculation to match its displayed form.

For example, if the result of a computation is 18.8266468442 and the calculator is set to display two decimal settings, the calculator will display 18.83 but it will still retain 18.8266468442 as the internal answer.

By pressing [2nd][Round], the calculator's internal result will be rounded from 18.8266468442 to 18.83.
