How do I perform sine, cosine, or tangent on the BA II PLUS and the BA II PLUS PROFESSIONAL?

The BA II PLUS and the BA II PLUS PROFESSIONAL financial calculators have the ability to perform trigonometric functions (Sine, Cosine and Tangent). These functions are the [2ND] functions of [(], [)] and [y^x] keys. Follow the examples provided below to perform Sine, Cosine and Tangent calculations.

Example 1: Find the Sine of 11.54°

1) Press [1] [1] [.] [4] [5].
2) Press [2ND] [SIN].

The result of 0.198512713 should be displayed.

Example 2: Find the Cosine of 120°

1) Press [1] [2] [0].
2) Press [2ND] [COS].

The result of -0.5 should be displayed.

Example 3: Find the Tangent of 76°

1) Press [7] [6].
2) Press [2ND] [TAN].

The result of 4.010780934 should be displayed.
