How are multiple Internal Rate of Return (IRR) solutions calculated on the BA II PLUS or the BA II PLUS PROFESSIONAL?
When a sequence of cash flows has two or more sign changes, there may be more than one solution for Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
In cases where there is more than one solution, the BA II PLUS and the BA II PLUS PROFESSIONAL will display the solution that is closest to zero. However, the displayed solution has no financial meaning.
