Solution 14280: Copying TI-Navigator™ Classroom Roster Files From One Computer to Another.
I created a classroom of about 30 students in the TI-Navigator™ software. How can I copy the classroom roster of 30 students from one TI-Navigator™ system to another on a different computer?
After fully completing the installation of the TI-Navigator software, a My TI-Navigator folder is created in the My Documents folder. When a new classroom roster is created, (2) two files labeled roster.xml and seating.xml are saved into the My TI-Navigator folder located in the My Documents folder. These are the two files needed to copy a classroom roster from one TI-Navigator system to another. This can be done by:
• E-Mailing the (2) two files to an e-mail account and accessing that e-mail account on another computer
• Copying the (2) two files to a floppy disk, CD, zip disk or USB storage device and loading them onto another computer
Once the files have been loaded onto another computer, they will need to be copied into the My TI-Navigator folder located in the My Documents folder. This can be done by:
• Dragging and dropping the (2) files into the TI-Navigator folder located in My Documents
• Copying and pasting the (2) files into the TI-Navigator folder located in My Documents
Once the files have been copied onto another computer, just open the TI-Navigator software and the same classroom roster will be present.
