Get Energized for the New School Year With the T³™ Summer of Learning
Summer is almost here! Are you ready for some fun in the sun? Summer break is an important time for teachers to recharge but also a time when educators often take the opportunity of flexible schedules to participate in a range of professional learning events to support their goals in math, science and STEM education. This summer, through the T³™ professional learning organization, there will be a wide variety of hands-on opportunities to continue building on your teaching expertise and explore new ways to use TI technology to engage students and enrich their learning experiences. Plus, you can collaborate with other educators, share ideas and strategies, and come away with new activities to use in your classroom.
All of the professional learning programs are taught by specially trained T³™ instructors — current and former teachers who can share strategies to address the challenges that you face every day.
Here are some great opportunities to take advantage of this summer.
T³™ Summer Workshops
You can choose from dozens of in-person and virtual workshops covering everything from TI technology skills and teaching strategies to exam prep, STEM and coding. Each workshop provides in-depth learning by focusing on a specific topic and support materials. In recognition of the importance of having the technology to take with you, TI technology is included with your registration.
“[Our instructor’s] ability to deal with many different levels of pre-knowledge was fabulous. I can’t remember a PD where I learned this much and, thanks to her teaching methods, I feel like I have every possibility of retaining it!” — Beth Boas, T³™ Workshop attendee |
T³™ Regional Summits
This summer, we’re offering in-person summits in New York, South Carolina and Tennessee. You can personalize your summit experience by choosing the sessions that interest you the most. Every summit offers a day of interactive learning, exploring topics like teaching practices, coding and more. TI technology is included with your summit registration.
“The summit provided something for everyone. It reached beginners to experts. High expectations, experience and productivity was in the air! I wish I had brought more teachers from my school!” — Sajata Latten, T³™ Regional Summit attendee |
2022 Virtual T³™ International Conference (T³IC)
We’re excited to jump back online for the 34th annual T³IC — the two-day virtual experience you don’t want to miss this summer, July 28–29. Join fellow educators online to explore ways to enrich teaching and learning using TI technology. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in dynamic sessions and hear from thought leaders and experts in math, science and STEM education.
The conference will kick off with an inspiring keynote on the thinking classroom from Peter Liljedahl, Ph.D., a Professor of Mathematics Education in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. Breakout sessions will be offered throughout Thursday and Friday. Then, the closing session will feature Robert Ahdoot, founder of YayMath.org, a free online collection of math video lessons filmed live in his classroom, in studio and on the street, using costumes and characters.
Sessions will also be available on demand through the end of September. Plus, you can borrow a TI graphing calculator to use during the conference. Register early to snag some fun TI swag!
“All of the sessions that I attended were engaging and thought-provoking. Even after teaching math for 32 years, I can always learn something new.” — Pamela Rawson, 2021 T³IC attendee |

On-demand T³™ Webinars
Another opportunity for professional learning this summer is our library of recorded webinars. Find webinars on TI technology, math and science topics, and more. You can learn on your schedule, at your own pace.
“I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about the calculator and its capabilities, but I learned a lot in an hour. The presenters were excellent.” — Stephanie Smith, T³™ Webinar attendee |
We look forward to learning with you this summer!
