Activity Overview
This Study Card stack enables students to review the concepts of matter, the kinds and classes of mater including atoms, molecules, elements, compounds, pure substance, and mixtures.
Before the Activity
Review the Study Cards file prior to class and to ensure that the cards are loaded on the calculators.
During the Activity
First,have the students to copy the study cards into their notebook with the correct answer. Next, disuss the students answers as a class in a round table discussion form.
After the Activity
After the discussion give the students an "Exit Card" that has one of the questions from the stack to answer and turn in as they leave the class.
