This activity serves as a follow-up to Activity 7 in the Explorations book, Modeling Motion: High School Math Activities with the CBR by Linda Antinone, Sam Gough, and Jill Gough (Texas Instruments Incorporated, 1997).
Before the Activity

The student will interpret the graph of the distance versus time of a walker. Have students complete Activity 7 from the EXPLORATIONS book first.
