Activity Overview
Students perform one-variable statistical analysis on birth weight data of a flock of sheep.
Primary emphasis in a sheep selection program should be based on the number of lambs born and weaned per ewe exposed (permitted to mate with a ram during a specific time frame determined by the shepherd, usually a 50 to 60 day period).
