Activity Overview
Use the TI-Navigator Activity Center to review the graphing of horizontial and vertical lines. The students will submit equations based on questions ask by the teacher.
Before the Activity
Download the attached activity file (.ACT) for the TI-Navigator™, and have it ready to load to each student calculator.
During the Activity
The teacher is to ask questions of different marks on the field (ie. What is the equation of the 40 yard line?). The students will submit the equations they feel are the answers. The teacher will then discuss different responses.
After the Activity
Maybe use this activity as a review for a test later in the chapter as well.
