This App illustrates and animates interesting facts about numbers 0 through 25. Students investigate factorization, geometric characteristics, and both mathematical and real-world interesting facts related to that number.

During the Activity
Follow the Activity procedures:
Select NumCurio App
Type a whole number from 0 through 25
FAC option shows the number?s prime factorization and tells if it is prime or composite
GEOM option shows a geometric representation of the number and tells how it is connected to a geometric figure (e.g. square, triangular, and hexagonal numbers)
NUM option provides one or more interesting number patterns
application.
WOW option provides other interesting facts about the number, including real-world connections to the number
After the Activity
Discuss difficult concepts
