Activity Overview
Students will use graphing technology to investigate all types of transformations on points in a coordinate plane.
Before the Activity

Prepare the cards indicated in the Transformations on the Coordinate Plane Points document.
During the Activity
Follow the procedures outlined in the Activity. Students will:
- Understand what transformations do to points on a coordinate plane.
- Understand the difference between translations, reflections, and stretches and shrinks (dilations)
After the Activity
Review student answers:
- As a class, discuss questions that arise during the activity
- Re-teach concepts as necessary
