In this activity, students will graphically and numerically explore Riemann sums and develop an understanding of summation notation for adding these rectangles.
In this activity, students will use an applet to explore the left-endpoint, right-endpoint, and midpoint approximations.
Next, students will further explore Riemann sums using summation notation.
Students will also explore several programs involving different integral approximations.
