Activity Overview
Students will practice using the graphing calculator to confirm their answers about the changes in graphs and equations when translations occur.
Before the Activity
Download the "TAKS: How Does It Translate?" Teacher Notes and Student Worksheet.
During the Activity
Teacher will introduce or review with students the connections between numbers in the equations and the changes in the graphs of those equations.
After the Activity
Teacher will lead discussion using similar questions from various sources including TAKS release items to confirm student understanding.
