Students will find the theoretical probability of different male/female combinations in a family of kittens.
First, students will simulate the gender outcomes of a litter of five kittens using the program COINFLIP.
Then, students will graph a bar graph of their results and then compare this to the class’s results.
Finally, students will compare the predicted, or theoretical, outcomes to the class’s results.
