This activity will allow students to discover the relationship between the secant angle and the corresponding central angles.
During the Activity
This activity guides students through the definition of secant lines and secant angles. It then instructs the students to move specific points, which create data that is automatically stored in lists and a scatter plot is generated. The student modifies the model for the scatter plot to discover the relationship between the secant angle and the corresponding central angles.
