Activity Overview
A lesson that help students visualize coordinate graphing and discover the four quadrants of the coordinate plane. Students will be able to graph ordered pairs and then make conjectures about the values of x and y coordinates and the relationship to the position of the ordered pair on the coordinate plane.
Before the Activity
Students should have access to the TI-83 Plus or TI-84 Plus family of calculators and a copy of the attached document.
During the Activity
