Getting Started with the TI-Navigator™ System: Treasure Hunt

Activity Overview

This activity introduces students to Activity Center and is intended to help them plot points in the coordinate plane.

Before the Activity

  • Set up your TI-Navigator System
  • Make sure you are familiar with the basic functions of TI-Navigator: Send to Class, Collect from Class, Screen Capture, Quick Poll, and Activity Center
  • Download the attached activity resource files to your computer

    • During the Activity

    Students will:

  • Understand and perform transformations such as arithmetically combining, composing, and inverting commonly used functions, using technology to perform such operations on more-complicated symbolic expressions.

  • Follow the activity procedures outlined in the attached .pdf document

    • After the Activity

    Assess your students' understanding by using Send to Class, LearningCheck™ and Class Analysis.
