The student is expected to use mathematical properties to simplify equivalent equations.

During the Activity
Follow the procedures outlined in the Activity. Students will:
- Be able to use mathematical properties and the graphing calculator to determine if equations are equivalent. Students will understand that equations can be written in multiple forms and still have the same meaning.
After the Activity
Review student answers:
- As a class, discuss questions that arise during the activity
- Re-teach concepts as necessary
