This activity serves as a follow-up to Activity 5 in the Explorations book, Modeling Motion: High School Math Activities with the CBR by Linda Antinone, Sam Gough, and Jill Gough (Texas Instruments Incorporated, 1997).
Before the Activity
Students will find the distance traveled given the graph of the velocity versus time of a walker.
Have students complete Activity 5 from the EXPLORATIONS book first.
