Activity Overview
This is a fun activity. I would use it to end the 1st Semester. The students plot points, reflect the points across the y axis, and connect points with segments to create a Christmas Tree. They can add ornaments and presents for bonus points. They end this activity by creating a picture of their choice on a new page.
Before the Activity
No pre-activity directions needed. The .tns file is just for the instructor. The student will create a new file to complete the activity.
During the Activity
Print the activity instructions for the student to follow with their TI-Nspire.
After the Activity
After completing this activity I shared the pictures the students created with the other students in the class. I got many good ones, and included some on PictureThis.tns. The students loved this activity!!!
