Millikan Oil Drop Experiment Simulation

Activity Overview

Students run a simulation on the TI-83+ or TI-84+ graphing calculator to perform a variation of the Millikan Oil Drop Experiment. The goal is to adjust the voltage across parallel plates until a droplet is suspended between the plates. The data can ba analyzed to determine the charge on the droplet.
