Activity Overview
Students will represent and analyze mathematical situations and structures using algebraic symbols. They will also use mathematical models to represent and understand quantitative relationships.
Before the Activity

During the Activity
Students will:
Examine geometric sequences and series in Sequence mode.
Relate geometric sequences to their explicit forms.
Find the partial sums of a sequence in a table.
Determine if a geometric series in converging.
After the Activity
Review student answers
As a class, discuss questions that appeared to be more challenging
Re-teach concepts as necessary
