Activity Overview
This is a quick class opener. That allow students to practice reading scatter plots and determining the correlation among data points.
Before the Activity
If you are using the TI-Navigator System with the TI-73 you will need the attached .pdf file.
Students' can answer the discussions questions by hand or submit the answers in LearningCheck™.
During the Activity
Students' will need to ungroup the ARMSPAN data on their hand held. Then they will need to run the Armspan Program, before they begin analyzing the data.
After the Activity
Review student answers:
As a class, discuss questions that appeared to be more challenging
Re-teach concepts as necessary
