Follow the activity procedures:
Express one-half in several different ways - using different situations, whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Find different names for one-half
Use a calculator to record as many names for one-half as possible
Compare the expressions and separate them into categories
Select one of your categories and write more expressions that fit that category
Describe a real-life situation for one category

Re-teach concepts as necessary
