Students will determine appropriate quadrants given specific instructions of where to move on a the coordinate plane in the TI-Navigator™ Activity Center
Before the Activity
Students should be able to identify the four quadrants. Read through the attached Word Document (Quadrants) so you know the type of questions to ask.
During the Activity
Have students login to Navnet and go to the activity center.
Open activity center in the TI-Navigator and set your window to -10, 10 for the x-values and -10, 10 for the y-values.
Configure points to where students can only submit one point and cannot resubmit.
Go to View and select individualize student cursors. Use the Quadrants document to go through the activity with the students.
After the Activity
Review student results:
As a class, discuss questions that appeared to be more challenging
Re-teach concepts as necessary
