Activity Overview
The activity is designed as a problem solver for Year 10 students. It investigates algebraic fractions with the use of a CAS calculator.
Before the Activity
As a preparation for Fraction Machine, students need to revise Define, Solve and algebraic fractions features of their CAS calculator doing the attached activity.
During the Activity
The problem solver is designed as an activity done individually under test conditions.
After the Activity
Teachers need to mark the activity using the marking scheme attached and discuss solutions with the students in class.
