Overview

Students will determine the trend in atomic radius for the periodic table, the trend in first ionization energy for the periodic table, and the trend in electronegativity for the periodic table.

Key Steps

Students will start the Periodic App and open up the Atomic Radius Graph. Arrow through the graph making note of the element at the top and bottom of each of the first five curved lines in the graph.
Students will repeat this process for both the 1st Ionization Energy and the Electronegativity graphs. Students will answer the questions to make note of trends in the Periodic Table.
