Trigonometry: What's My Move?

Activity Overview

This can be used as a discovery or review activity for students to learn the various transformations of a trigonometric curve in the form of y=AcosB(x-C)+D.

Before the Activity

This can be used before teaching about the transformations of trigonometric graphs and used to discover that makes the changes in A, B, C, and D in the equation. Students can be in groups for discussion. This can also be used as a review.
