This modular course is a series of video-based lessons providing instruction on how to graph, explore and transform parent functions.

In this video series, you will find instructional content on how to graph, explore and transform parent functions. Modules that focus on each of 13 parent functions contain videos that explore in depth, the functions and their transformations. Use these to introduce and explore critical concepts behind parent function transformations. You can either share the videos with your students via the YouTube links or have them watch the videos through the Families of Functions website.

This video series is designed to be a flexible tool for teachers across multiple grade levels. It’s ideal for algebra I, II and precalculus tutorials,  and can be useful for both students who may have missed class, or even as a primary instruction option for asynchronous learners.
