Activity Overview
Students will use the TI-Nspire handheld to find the zeros of a quadratic function. This is a good introductory activity for using the Graphs and Geometry application of TI-Nspire.
Before the Activity
Prepare copies of the Tech sheet and the Student Worksheet.
During the Activity
Students may work in pairs using the TI-Nspire handheld to complete the worksheet.
After the Activity
Discussion could evolve into finding the solutions to a quadratic equation by finding the zeros of the related quadratic function.
