Activity Overview
This Computer Algebra System (CAS) activity encourages students to investigate addition, subtraction, and multiplication of matrices. They find the inverse of a matrix. Students also solve a set of linear equations by using matrices.

Perform operations like addition, subtraction, and multiplication on matrices
Examine the unit matrix
Find the product of a scalar and a matrix
Determine the inverse of a matrix
Understand that finding the inverse replaces the idea of division
Solve a system of linear equations using matrices
