Enter the name of the variable into an expression or entry in one of the following ways:

•   Press b and then the letter of the variable.

•   Press a È, and then select the name of the list, or press a Õ or Ö, and so forth.

•   Press a Ë, and then select the name of the matrix.

•   Press b Ž to display the YVAR shortcut menu, then select the name of the function.

•   Press p to display the VARS menu and navigate to the desired variable.

The variable name is displayed in line and evaluated along with the expression.

Note: You can use Rcl in the Y= Editor to paste a current function to a new YVar to avoid retyping long expressions.
