To evaluate a log to any base, follow these steps.

1.    Press x to evaluate a log to a base. This will insert the log template.

2.    Enter any log value.

3.    Press =.

4.    The base argument is empty and can be omitted for the standard logarithm. A base of "10" will be populated in the template upon pressing =.

5.    Press the left arrow key ‹ in the template to make a base other than 10.
