Activity Overview
In this activity, students will begin getting familiar with terminology of polynomials: monomials, polynomials, binomials, trinomials. Students will use Polynomial Tools on the TI-Nspire CAS to find the degree of several polynomials and will be asked to describe how to find the degree of a polynomial in their own words. Questions are used throughout. Use TI-Nspire Navigator to assess understanding of the material.

Collect the TNS file using TI Nspire Navigator and open in class analysis to assess students' understanding.
