Activity Overview
In "The Janus List," a bomber threatens to blow up a bridge. The bomber calls Charlie and asks him a series of questions that involve a number of mathematical topics. One of the topics is the classic 'Wheat and Chessboard' problem.
Students will explore exponential expressions by studying the 'Wheat and Checkerboard' problem.
