Activity Overview
In "Provenance," a famous painting by the artist Camille Pissarro is stolen from a gallery in Los Angeles. Because the painting is well-known, there are a limited number of places it could be shipped.
Students will learn how to create a probability matrix and use it to calculate the most likely hiding places for the painting.
