Activity Overview
The students will use the Cabri Jr. APPVAR ALTINT and ALTINT2 to identify alternate interior angles and to discover the relationship that will yield parallel lines.
Before the Activity
- Download the Cabri Jr. APPVAR ALTINT and ALTINT2 to handhelds using TI-Connect software and unit to unit link cables. ALTINT and ALTINT2 may also be sent via TI-Navigator.
- Students should do the worksheet "Selecting and dragging an object using Cabri Jr."
During the Activity
This activity is a lesson launcher for understanding alternate interior angle relationships.
- Distribute Student Worksheet for Alternate Interior angles.
- Students use the Cabri Jr. APPVAR ALTINT and ALTINT2 to answer questions from student worksheet.
After the Activity
