Activity Overview
In this activity, students' will investigate the given function, and state and explain the limit at a particular value. They also state and explain the limit at a particular value from a graph.

During the Activity
Distribute the pages to the class.
Follow the Activity procedures:
Enter the piecewise function
Examine the numerical behavior of the function at different values
Notice that the limit of the function tends towards a particular value
Investigate the limit of the function as it tends to values less than and above the particular value
Graph the function and investigate it as the limit of the function tends to above and below the particular value
Similarly examine other functions and their graphs
After the Activity
Students' will collect data and analyze the results.
