Activity Overview
Students will discover properties of similar figures using the TI-89 and CABRI Geometry II to use dilations to dynamically manipulate figures. (Topic - Similar Figures and the Role of Dilations)
Before the Activity
Students should have access to the TI-89/TI-89 Titanium.
During the Activity
Students will use the TI-89 and CABRI™ Geometry to use dilations to dynamically manipulate figures in order to discover properties of similar figures. This activity may be teacher directed or discovery.
After the Activity
